Ghana Panafest 2027

Our Ghana Panafest 2027 tour will bring you to Ghana’s biggest Pan African festival of culture and history. You’ll spend 10 days and 9 nights in Ghana, the first country in sub-Saharan Africa to obtain independence. Your time will start in the capital city of Accra, where you’ll visit important landmarks like Kwame Nkrumah Park, Independence Square, WEB DuBois Center, and Jamestown Lighthouse. You’ll have day fun on the beach and enjoy Ghana’s renowned nightlife. You’ll also experience nature at Aburi Gardens, Asom Waterfalls and a cocoa farm. Next, you’ll travel to the Central region for a heritage tour and Panafest activities, where you’ll experience music, dance, theatre, visual arts, debates, conferences and quiet reflection on the past, present and future of Africa and its people. You’ll visit Assin Manso, the former slave market where captive slaves received their last bath. You’ll visit Elmina Castle, where slaves were held before being shipped off to the Americas; and Kakum National Park, a preserved tropical rain forest with a canopy walkway overlooking the treetops. You’ll have a traditional naming ceremony where you’ll receive your Ghanaian name, before returning to Accra. Your time in Ghana will end at our Farewell Brunch, where you’ll have one last frolic before departing for your return home.
